ITALIC – [VISIONS]

A Hooded boy enters the temple, his height is of a 6 years old boy. The boy walks at the dark hallways of the temple, lighting every lamps in the way.

“Since the beginning of time, there had always been darkness, but not this full course. I had lost everything from the darkness, My Family, My Home, My Friends and everything that I held dear…And I was orphaned just by the night before my 6th birthday, My surrogate parents were killed by the Creatures of the Night, the Madness killed my Baby Brother And Left me Frightened and Alone, until I was rescued… rescued by survivors who joined together to rid the world of the Creatures of Hell, They saw in me to resist the Creatures of the Night and they forged me into a weapon…Now… I’m Ready.”

He Enters the Dark Room of the Temple where lies the Statue of a Snake, Towering over the Three Pillars that support the great hall, The three pillars surround an Altar.

“They say the God was in all things and everywhere I see signs of change, the wind brings an unnatural chills and my People grows uneasy, now the Fire bursts out of the sky and scorches the vaults of heaven I must carry out the will of the Patriarchs in my young age, if they need to see I am be their eyes, where they wish to strike, I am be their fist, when they ignite the light of truth, I am their Torch.”

The boy entered the room…

“But Time is still long for the both of us to meet again, as the Darkness of the Shadows are watching and waiting for the right time to strike at the hearts of Humanity that would lose hope.”

The boy lights up the candles inside the temple.

“It has been said…that in the end of all things…”

The candles glow brightly in the dark…

“That we would find a new beginning…”

Then there was a flash of light as the Scene changes, the vision was of a Ruin…

“But as the Shadows once again crawls across our world…”

The crows were squawking eerily as a barren land came in to view.

“In the stench of terror drift in the bitter wind…”

Another flash of light changes the view in to a night where the moon shines brightly in the darkness and a meteor falling down from the sky.

“People pray for strength and guidance…”

Another flash changes the view of a burning land appears.

“They should pray for the mercy of swift death…”

The Vision changed again…but there’s nothing but darkness…

“For I have seen what the Darkness hides…”

Since my youth I was told that I was special, A Prodigy of vast potential I came to the sanctum seeking of knowledge that I could believe from the masters but I found them fearful of the truth…I would learn nothing from them but the old books the prophesies they contain should we fall that might come to pass and know what I might become.

I wandered to places beyond imaginings far from the Temples that I had stayed, my knowledge had grown vast…the people that they’d been banished shunned to the end of my days they said I defied the spirits but I said no…I followed them, the spirits showed me alone that the sky fire where it end begins…they say this must not be I need to find the spirits so I go…there is no one but me to answer the call.

As I wander Soon the sun was setting In the town was becoming even more horrifying than it looks as the sun goes down, crows are squawking at the blood stained town I walk towards the Park kneeling down on one knee at the near corpse that starting to decompose and inspects it and found something, picking it up  and had a closer look and it seems it wasn’t a fang of a wild beast but by a demon itself, as he look at it a vision of a monster appeared, he held the fang tight and looked up to take a good look of the area…he then looked to the ground and then found some trails.

“Someone survived.”

I looked down at the fang and burned the symbol on the ground and ran to the direction where the trail heading. As the sun goes down and the night in the forest was eerily silent and cold as I continued heading to where the trail leads me I saw a light in the centre of the forest and looked around…then walks towards the source of the light and as I got closer I saw a young boy a year younger than me or same age as me near the fire place, the boy was downright frightened to the marrow of his bone, so I walks near the boy. The boy looked up in fright.

“*Gasps* Don’t come any closer.” He said as his hand inching towards the knife.

I took a few step back so not to scare the boy any further than he already was.

“You probably ran, until you couldn’t take another step.” I said and looked down at the sharp fang in my hand. “…I remember that feeling…”

Then proceeds piercing a straight rod in the softer bottom of the fang…then there was a loud screech as the mist grows prompting the boy to look around in fear.

“I had no choice.” He said shakily.

I tightened my hold to the newly made arrow and looked at the frightened boy.

“You always have a choice.” I stated firmly as I fix the arrow.

From the dark, misty trees different kind of Creatures of the Night (Rouge Vampires) appears bearing weapons, the frightened boy watched as they get closer, I stood in front of the boy,I will protect him.

“We’re going to die here…” He looked up at Me. “Aren’t we?”

I looked down at him with amusement.

“No…as long as I’m here.” I raised my crossbow and placed the arrow. “They…are the prey.”

The boy watched me closely as I speak.

“And I…” I raised another crossbow and turned to the Horde.  “Am the Hunter...”

I aimed at the Rouge Vampires, my Eyes Glowed indicating my Power flows. I then fired releasing numbers of arrows killing the first wave on its wake, a larger Vampire came charging as the first wave falls I jump aside back flipping in the air and firing few arrows at the Vampire’s back causing the Vampire to fall. I then shoot from Left to Right as the Rouge Vampires come from all side to side. Then his cry caught back my attention, the Vampire I sent to the ground stubbornly limping towards the frightened boy, I then whipped out my demonic looking Arbalest with the design of the Skull and horns of some sort of demon beasts and fired after aiming, two chained bombs were wrapped around the Vampire’s neck and explodes sending its head sky high, the boy covered himself as the Vampire’s blood spill all over him.

I continued to shoot every arrows I got, then throwing three bombs to annihilate the horde that was coming too close…the seemingly endless horde of Rouge Vampires kept on coming, the man starts to cast some spells and kept on shooting  at the Rouge Vampires, soon the horde was receding as the man continues to fight.

“I stand alone and if they keep coming I will never stop killing…” I said as I shoot all my arrows bringing down every one last bit of the Rouge Vampires and soon the bloody battle is over, the dead bodies of the Rouge Vampires were littered everywhere…The boy just sat there watching the aftermath of the Carnage… he couldn’t take all these Rouge Vampires down on his own and that many…but this Young Hunter same Age as he is…even if he’s alone he had finished all of them on his own that’s what he had in mind…I stepped towards Him, the boy looks up as I raised my crossbow.

“You have a choice.” I began.

The boy listens in wonder.

“Hunted…” I said turning my weapon.

I then handed over the crossbow handle first to the boy as I invite him to Join the Guild.

“Or Hunter…” I finished.

Without any second thought the boy have to be strong, become strong so he could fight this new enemies he took the handle accepting I offer… I stayed with him until morning, giving him food to fill his empty stomach and stayed with him to keep him safe…until dawn, I had to leave him, I left several of my stuff for the boy so he could survive his Journey towards the safety of the Main Guild within Wall Maria. I heard him tried to call me out.

“WAIT! WHO ARE YOU!?” He cried out.

I watched him from my distance, I can see fear in his eyes, but there is nothing to fear, I smiled ‘We will meet again someday in the near future in an unknown time…in a certain place…so we’ll part for now.’ And everything became so bright as the sun rise from the mountain behind me blinding the boy, so it’s my chance to leave.

“WAIT! Please tell me your name!” The Boy called as he tries to reach out.

I watched him go as he realized that I’m not going to answer him, he knows what to do… and on my next Journey I stumbled upon the Fallen Town of Shiganshina in Wall Maria, there I found Children, three of them. In their eyes I saw Myself when I was in the same position as they were. So I took them in and trained them how to fight, until they are ready to move their own life and how they chose to do with it. I had loved the Children as my own, and one day I saw the Darkness drawing near to Wall Rose, I have to get the Children to safety as fast as I could, Until my Fellow Hunters had to fetch me for the Last Resort of Protecting Wall Rose from the impending Darkness… I did what I could to give the Children Protection…

The whole Hunters’ Guild are ready to fight for one Last Time, They will be the Guard as I call Upon the Power of  the Grand Cross, to wash all the Madness of the Hell Spawns away from the Last Bastion of Humanity… I am willing to Pay the Price… I must do what is best for Humanity and for the People I loved… I can feel the Power flows within me as the Power of Heaven pour all their Might to this One Attack… The Grand Cross… And all I saw since that Time are nothing but white and rain of feathers… after that all went blank…

My thoughts were filled with visions of my Friends and Family in the Hunters’ Guild and of the Boy I saved in the Woods and the three Orphans I took in… all the time I spent with them, Long or Short… I saw them… I couldn’t help but smile… I have nothing to fear as I am engulfed by nothingness, as long as I have these Memories, I’ll be alright… I closed my eyes and drift to a peaceful sleep.
